Expert Dave, of CummingHousePainter.com was heavily involved in the reconstruction process after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Living out of his mobile trailer behind the Kenner Seafood restaurant, Dave and his men were some of the first crews helping the resilient Louisiana residents start anew. Dave was known not only for his fine craftmanship, but also his genuine caring heart.
While other companies were gouging the storm beaten residents, Expert Dave was committed to be honest and fair in his prices. Using his connections, he was able to get the necessary supplies to the area, from drywall to timber, to help his clients get their home back in shape.
Dave will admit the hours were long and the stress mighty. He saw so much devastation, but what hurt the most was seeing so many people in distress. He often not only spent time helping with the actual construction, but also hours talking with his clients, praying with them, and consoling them in their loss.
